Global Proficiency is a specialist provider of proficiency testing, reference materials, and related services. With support staff in Australia and New Zealand we provide an independent and confidential service in analytical benchmarking to more than 400 laboratories in 35 countries.
Independent Assurance for Laboratories
Participating in Global Proficiency's proficiency testing (PT) schemes provides laboratories with independent assurance of the accuracy and reliability of their test results. Participating laboratories join an established network of proven analytical performance. Global Proficiency operates in accordance with international best practice. We are:
- Accredited by IANZ, the New Zealand accreditation authority to ISO/IEC 17043:2010 - Conformity Assessment - General Requirements for Proficiency Testing. IANZ is a full member of both the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), and Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC)
- Recognised by NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities of Australia) as a proficiency provider. Global Proficiency also provides technical advisory services to PTA (Proficiency Testing Australia)
- Provider of technical advisory services to PTA (Proficiency Testing Australia)
- Used by MAF (Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry), as the provider of Inter-Laboratory Comparison Programmes for the meat and food testing industries
