LipidChek Proficiency Testing Scheme
The LipidChek PT scheme has been designed for laboratories testing for chemical composition and other properties of edible Fats & Oils.
LipidChek Schedule
Proficiency materials in the LipidChek PT scheme are dispatched on alternate months (refer LipidChek Timetable or LipdChek Timetable Australia). Participants are given two weeks to analyse samples and return results.
LipidChek Sample Description
A set of four samples is provided in each round. The following sample types are currently offered in the LipidChek PT scheme:

LipidChek Performance Reporting
Statistical summaries and reports are e-mailed to participants within 3 days after the due date for results.
Participants receive:
- Individualised Reports per round e-mailed within 3 days of the result due date. These reports provide information about the data pool of participating laboratories, comparing each laboratory's test results with those of other participating laboratories, including:
- An individual rating per sample
- An assessment of bias for the set of results
- An overall rating for the round
- A histogram comparing the lab performance for the round
- A control chart showing performance in the year to date
- An Annual Report summarising the performance of the participant by test throughout the year and a consolidated summary of all PT materials and data.
