Tallow Proficiency Testing Scheme
The Tallow Chemistry Proficiency Testing (PT) scheme is designed for laboratories routinely undertaking chemical analyses of Tallow and Rendered Fats. Such products may be intended for human consumption, animal feeds or used in industrial manufacturing processes.

Tallow Schedule
New Zealand Laboratories: Tallow samples are despatched bi-monthly in the even months of the year. In addition, samples specifically intended for the Insoluble Impurities test are despatched in the months of June and October. Refer to the LipidChek Timetable.
Tallow Sample Description
Tallow samples for routine testing are offered as a two-sample set. Participants who also wish to participate in the Insoluble Impurities test are sent an additional set consisting of two samples.Participants are given up to two weeks to examine the samples and return results.
